Andy Lowe is a curious music producer from Shropshire, UK. Andy's music spans diverse genres, but shares common threads of playfulness, exploration and storytelling.

 

An experienced multi-instrumental performer, Andy has played in jazz ensembles, indie bands and also directed a youth gospel choir. His recordings combine sounds from acoustic and electronic sources. 'Found sounds' feature frequently - recordings taken from a local environment. Samples appearing on Andy's releases include his mother-in-law's freezer and his daughter's pre-natal heartbeat.

 

Andy is a co-producer of the Auki podcast, which involves playing improvisation games with guest musicians.
